Throughout history, Indigenous peoples and Tribal Governments have been overlooked and disregarded in their role in economic, environmental and social changes.
These changes are especially true when critical infrastructure, business and environmental issues are involved on reservation, treaty and ceded lands of Indigenous People. In addition, Indigenous identified groups have been able to gain a foothold in today’s world of ever-changing economic and environmental landscape. Over time, industries, governments, and businesses have found it critical to engage with Indigenous people and tribes in order to successfully build projects, sell products, and hire the people that have a direct impact on Indigenous lands, environment, and human resources. As governments, industries, and businesses evolve, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) have become leading internal change initiatives for growth and advancement. In cases that Indigenous people and ground disturbance are involved, IBA helps companies and organizations navigate and understand issues so they can incorporate it into their strategic thinking, engagement efforts. IBA core business targets are energy, utility, mining, philanthropic, education and healthcare organizations.
